Anoka Pride Expands for 2025 After a Successful Inaugural Year!

Anoka, MN – May 8th, 2025 – After an incredible first year with over 750 attendees, Anoka Pride is returning bigger and better in 2025! Building on the success of our inaugural event, we are expanding to include more activity booths, exciting make-and-take activities, a live DJ spinning music all day, an interactive game around town with supporting businesses, and an unforgettable after-party to keep the celebration going!

The 2024 Anoka Pride event was a resounding success, bringing together a vibrant community in celebration of love, diversity, and inclusion. This year, we are thrilled to bring even more to the table—more booths featuring interactive resources, engaging activities, and community organizations; expanded hands-on activities for all ages; and additional entertainment throughout the day to keep the energy high and the spirits soaring.

“We were overwhelmed with the incredible support and turnout in our first year,” said Amanda Koivisto, event organizer. “The enthusiasm and love from the community proved just how much Anoka needed a Pride celebration of its own. In 2025, we’re going even bigger to create an even more inclusive, welcoming, and fun experience for everyone!”

What to Expect at Anoka Pride 2025:

• Interactive Make-and-Takes: Dedicated stations offering fun and engaging hands-on activities where attendees can create and take home a piece of the celebration.

• Family Fun: Games, crafts, and entertainment designed for all ages.

• Game in Town: A city-wide adventure where attendees can visit local businesses supporting Pride find the designated word and complete the worksheet to enter to win fabulous prizes.

• More information to come as we get closer to the event date.

• After-Party Extravaganza: When the main event wraps up, the celebration continues at an exclusive after-party with dancing and community connection.
